Turnbull & Asser Charcoal Melange Hampstead Overshirt

Charcoal Melange Hampstead Overshirt by Turnbull & Asser — Shirts

A gray shirt from Turnbull & Asser: the Charcoal Melange Hampstead Overshirt, listed here at $1295.

What to look for on the fit

A shirt is read at the collar and the shoulder yoke; everything below that is adjustable. Grey is the most forgiving mid-tone in a wardrobe, but the exact temperature of the grey matters against skin.

Fit & Styling Intelligence

Material & Drape — Visible fabric behaviour

Look for how the cloth falls from the shoulder yoke. Crisp cloth keeps a cleaner vertical line, while a softer weave gathers more readily at the elbow and waist.

Cut & Proportion — Dress Shirts

A dress shirt should align at collar and shoulder before anything else. Check cuff position, chest closure and the amount of cloth left to tuck at the waist.

Styling Notes

Wear it tucked to emphasize the waist and rise, or open over a tee when the cut has enough body to act as a light layer.

Virtual Try-On Guidance

In the AI fitting room, inspect collar scale, shoulder alignment, cuff position and waist drape. Look for pulling at the buttons and enough length for your intended tuck.
