Purple Sage ’Grounded Pastels’ Made in UK 991v2 Trainers by New Balance — Sneakers

New Balance makes the Purple Sage ’Grounded Pastels’ Made in UK 991v2 Trainers as a green sneaker; it sits in the Rizore menswear catalog at $279.

What to look for on the fit

Sneaker bulk is the variable: a chunky midsole shortens the leg, a flat one lengthens it. Olive and forest tones behave as neutrals once they are on the body.

Fit & Styling Intelligence

Material & Drape — Visible fabric behaviour

Compare the visual weight of the upper with the sole. The fitting-room preview can show proportion, but not cushioning, flex or internal width.

Cut & Proportion — Athletic & Running

Use the preview to judge sole bulk, toe length and how the trouser hem meets the upper. Confirm comfort and width separately.

Styling Notes

Echo one colour from the upper, or let a neutral pair support the outfit. Trouser opening matters more than matching every colour.
